There is steady opinion in the modern historiography about sequential migration of ancient Hungarians from Southern Urals (Magna Hungaria — Great Hungaria) to Don Steppes (Levedia) and Northern Black sea area (Atelkuza). This article is considered the medieval European authors’ information about the eastern ancestral home of the ancient Hungarians-Magyars. The article gives the analyze of that info in order to determine out their relationship with the ancient Magyar’s lands mentioned by Constantine Porphyrogennetos in his tractate “On the Governance of the Empire”. In this research, paper is attempted to explore origin of the names of “Levedia” and “Atelkuza”. The author makes the conclusion that both groups of the medieval European authors mean the one physical territory inhabited by the ancient Magyars — the Ural ancestral home.
